Familiarty with NY area tranportation agencies such as Amtrak, LIRR, MetroNorth, NJT, NYCT, PANYNJ and their technical approach.Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.Documented experience in security and communications systems such as access control, IP video, networks, cabling infrastructure, PA/VIS, radio and other low voltage systems used at airports, rail stations, bridges and tunnels, highways and marine ports.Knowledge of engineering design standards and process, guidelines, principles and practices with an emphasis on communications and physical security.Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications, IT or related field highly preferred.A minimum of three years’ experience advanced degrees may substitute for one or more year of experience.
